Saosin
Hometown: Newport Beach, CA Genre: Screamo / Rock / Psychedelic Sounds like: Thrice and Bless The Fall Current Album: SAOSIN Myspace: myspace.com/saosin Official Site: www.saosin.com Saosin has a different sound from most bands I listen too. They combine harmony and rythum along with hard core wrifs and incorporating all those aspects into the “Screamo” style of music. They are a great band to listen to. I definitely think you should get their self-titled album. |

I guess if you can’t get enough of Eighteen Visions, this is your band. Their music style is a more alternative sound of the late Eighteen Visions. They’ve already got 3 songs demo’d up on their myspace. Honestly, it’s very impressive and sounds great. I’m looking forward to hearing more from these guys. |

Hometown: Sacramento, CA Genre: Rock, Screamo, Indie Sounds like: Silverstein, Emery, Taking Back Sunday Current Album: Goodbye Rocketman, St. George Is Under Fire Myspace: myspace.com/jamieselsewhere Official Site: Here’s a band that I’ve grown to love. I originally found them after the demise of Mozart Season. After hearing a few songs I was thoroughly impressed. Jamies Elsewhere’s sound is smooth and controlled, sometimes layered with raging vocals. I love their sound and what they can bring to the table. Jamie’s Elsewhere are in a elite group that has so many dynamics in their music, it’s just right. I’m looking forward to picking up their debut album in a couple weeks. Stop what you’re doing and check out their myspace. |
