Underminded was recently brought to my attention at a few guest appearances by lead vocalist Nick Martin on Chiodos latest release, Bone Palace Ballet. The deep coarse vocals of Nick Martin mixed with the perfect melodic hard metal simply rocks! Definitely worth a listen!

The Lifeline has a sound that you “think you heard before.” But after listening again you then realize that this isn’t deja-vu, but something powerful and soothing. The Lifeline is unique with the sense of violin mixed with some rock. I love how it sounds, a mature monumental sound. Check out their songs on their myspace and I think you’ll get the same feeling I’m trying to explain. The Lifeline are on the forefront of the ever evolving world of rock music.

This band is full of energy. Every song on their album is very catchy and fun. A Year At The Movies, their debut full album is complete. I came across Social Code browsing the internet a while back and I’ve loved them since. Travis, lead vocals, has a deep, sort of raspy voice, but when hits long notes they’re strong. Most of Social Code’s music is upbeat, but they also do have some amazing slow tempo songs that get you singing along in no time. They had a few singles such as Beautiful, Perfect Grave, and Everything Fine. But some of my favorite songs are Cats and Dogs, Flurry, and As Good As It Gets. They have a new self-titled album set to hit stores on May 8th.
