Fall Out Boy has announce to MTV that they will be traveling to Uganda to rise awareness about displaced or forgotten children in Central Africa. Pete Wentz said the following about their upcoming visit:
The craziest thing I learned from working with people at Invisible Children is that if we sent one senior policy advisor to Northern Uganda, the potential for ending the war there [increases], And it hasn’t happened. If everyone writes in to their congressmen, it’s something we can actually do.
The charity sparked their interest from their labelmates Thrice who were early adopters. Thrice discovered the charity while taping a music video based on a fictional French film for their single “Image Of The Invisible.”

Escape The Fate has ended their tour early with Bullet For My Valentine and The Confession.
Here’s the release by the band itself:
As some of you might have heard through other sources, last Friday we were indeed let go from the Bullet For My Valentine tour. We know you guys are disappointed, as are we. We, more than anything wanted to finish this tour and rock your faces off every night. Unfortunately, this decision was out of our control and we will not be playing any more of these shows.
But, we will be back ALL summer long, rocking The Hurley Stage on Warped Tour throughout the ENTIRE country. Also for all of our international fans, hold tight, we will have a pretty big announcement to make for the Fall. We love each and everyone of you. Escape The Fate fans are definitely the coolest kids on the block.
Love,
-Escape The Fate

The Lifeline
Hometown: Chicago, Il Genre: Rock, Alternative Sounds like: Evanescence, I Am Ghost, Tool Current Album: For All Who Triumph Myspace: myspace.com/thelifeline Official Site: The Lifeline has a sound that you “think you heard before.” But after listening again you then realize that this isn’t deja-vu, but something powerful and soothing. The Lifeline is unique with the sense of violin mixed with some rock. I love how it sounds, a mature monumental sound. Check out their songs on their myspace and I think you’ll get the same feeling I’m trying to explain. The Lifeline are on the forefront of the ever evolving world of rock music. |
