Linkin Park have updated on the details of Projekt Revolution in a myspace post:

Linkin Park confirmed today the fourth installment of Projekt Revolution beginning July 25th and culminating on September 3 in Denver at the Coors Amphitheatre (routing below). Fans can expect to see Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, HIM, Placebo and Julien-K on the Main Stage and Mindless Self Indulgence, Saosin, The Bled, Styles of Beyond and Madina Lake on the Revolution Stage. Tickets go on sale nationwide on May 19th. The few dates not announced due to radio shows will be announced shortly. Tickets will be available at www.livenation.com.

“I couldn’t be happier with the group of artists joining us on Projekt Revolution this summer?” says co-vocalist Chester Bennington, “Linkin Park is thrilled to be joined by this amazing group of artists and I know the audience will share in our excitement.” Previous Projekt Revolution alumni include Korn, Snoop Dogg, Cypress Hill, Xzibit, Mudvayne, Adema, Blindside and DJ Z-Trip.

Projekt Revolution and Music For Relief have been working hard to make this an environmentally conscious event. Besides making Projekt Revolution a “green” tour, $1 from each ticket will be donated to American Forests’ Global ReLeaf program to plant trees to help reduce global temperatures.

Escape The Fate has ended their tour early with Bullet For My Valentine and The Confession.

Here’s the release by the band itself:

As some of you might have heard through other sources, last Friday we were indeed let go from the Bullet For My Valentine tour. We know you guys are disappointed, as are we. We, more than anything wanted to finish this tour and rock your faces off every night. Unfortunately, this decision was out of our control and we will not be playing any more of these shows.

But, we will be back ALL summer long, rocking The Hurley Stage on Warped Tour throughout the ENTIRE country. Also for all of our international fans, hold tight, we will have a pretty big announcement to make for the Fall. We love each and everyone of you. Escape The Fate fans are definitely the coolest kids on the block.

Love,

-Escape The Fate

Lifehouse’s upcoming album Who We Are update

Comments Off on Lifehouse’s upcoming album Who We Are update

Lifehouse has recently finished recording their fourth studio album Who We Are. ?I wanted to get back to our roots and make a rock record again,? group leader Jason Wade tells Billboard.com, ?I feel like our (self-titled) last record, leading off with ?You and Me,? the ballad, it kinda softened us up a little bit. I think people forget that we started off as an alternative band, then we kinda got immersed in that Adult Top 40 and Top 40 world. This time it was really refreshing just to plug our guitars back in and crank it up and play some uptempo rock music.?

Lifehouse wrote 16 songs and recorded 12 for the record. The first single is “First Time”. Which in terms of Wade, ?has that summertime, young love feel to it. I?m not really surprised they ended up picking it for the first single, since we?re coming out in summer.?

The album is scheduled for a release date of June 26th. A few weeks earlier they will begin a summer tour with the Goo Goo Dolls.
