Faber Drive

Hometown: British Columbia, Canada
Genre: Rock, Punk, New Wave
Sounds like: Fall Out Boy, The Exies, Blink 182
Current Album: Seven Second Surgery
Official Site:

Faber Drive is ultra addictive really quick. They’ve somehow manage to come out with an album where every song has a chorus so catchy its irresistible. Faber Drive a solid band that I see to making a big sound in many ears and radio stations all over. Go listen to Tongue Tied or Second Chance on their myspace, and if you’re singing one of their songs moments after its over, then don’t hesitate to pick up their debut record, Seven Second Surgery.

Lifehouse’s upcoming album Who We Are update

Comments Off on Lifehouse’s upcoming album Who We Are update

Lifehouse has recently finished recording their fourth studio album Who We Are. ?I wanted to get back to our roots and make a rock record again,? group leader Jason Wade tells, ?I feel like our (self-titled) last record, leading off with ?You and Me,? the ballad, it kinda softened us up a little bit. I think people forget that we started off as an alternative band, then we kinda got immersed in that Adult Top 40 and Top 40 world. This time it was really refreshing just to plug our guitars back in and crank it up and play some uptempo rock music.?

Lifehouse wrote 16 songs and recorded 12 for the record. The first single is “First Time”. Which in terms of Wade, ?has that summertime, young love feel to it. I?m not really surprised they ended up picking it for the first single, since we?re coming out in summer.?

The album is scheduled for a release date of June 26th. A few weeks earlier they will begin a summer tour with the Goo Goo Dolls.
