ARTIST OF THE DAY
Breaking Point
Hometown: Memphis, Tennessee Genre: Rock / Alternative / Pop Sounds like: Hinder, DoubleDive, and Default Current Album: Beautiful Disorder Myspace: myspace.com/breakingpoint Official Site: www.breakingpoint.com This band is pretty mellow but they have some great songs. Some of my favorites are Show Me A Sign, All Messed Up, and Goodbye To You which are all from their latest album “Beautiful Disorder” in 2005. These guys are a great band to get because they are not to hard and not to soft; they are right in the middle which I like a lot. Beautiful Disorder is just an awesome album in general; one you could listen to from start to finish. |

ARTIST OF THE DAY
Halifax
Hometown: Thousand Oaks, CA Genre: Rock / Pop Punk Sounds like: Evans Blue and Paramore Current Album: The Inevitability of a Strange world Myspace: myspace.com/halifax Official Site: www.HalifaxRock.com Halifax has a great sound and progession from song to song. They are a fast band with alot of energy filled lyrics and guitar rifs. Their type of music makes it really hard not to just start singing at the top of your lungs. Halifax is a great band to add to your rotation of music. Their album, The Inevitability of a Strange World, is out in stores now. My favorite song off the album is Anthem For Tonight. |
