Valencia get their van broken into AGAIN!

Comments Off on Valencia get their van broken into AGAIN!

I don’t know if I’d call this luck, but for the second time this tour Valencia’s van has been broken into. They said that barely anything was even stolen, but regardless they’ve been invaded. Here’s a video update from the band:

ARTIST OF THE DAY
Paramore

Hometown:
Franklin, TN
Genre: Rock / Alternative
Sounds like: Faktion, Trapt,
Current Album: All We Know Is Falling
Myspace: myspace.com/paramore
Official Site: www.paramore.net

All I have to say is wow. This band has a great sound provided by the lead singer Hayley. She has great vocals and knows how to use them. Their new album Riot! comes out June 12th. Some of the songs I liked are Pressure, Here We Go Again, and Brighter which are off their first album All We Know Is Falling; the whole CD is awesome. Off of their new album Riot!, Miser Business is a great song should be an immediate hit.

ARTIST OF THE DAY
Last November

Hometown: Atlanta, GA
Genre: Rock, Punk, Alternative
Sounds like: Valencia, Bedlight For Blueeyes
Current Album: All the Gory Details
Myspace: myspace.com/lastnovember
Official Site: lastnovember.com

Last November’s songs are full of passion and heart. They give you that warm fuzzy feeling. Their debut album All The Gory Details has been out for over a year now and a second album is in the works. You can hear a new unreleased song on their myspace. Some of my favorite songs include Aquaphobia, Addicted To You, and Make-Believe. Another great album for summer driving.

Thrice update on new album

Comments Off on Thrice update on new album

Recently posted by the band:

Let’s see? We started tracking the last Air song today. It?s a little upbeat number with breakbeats galore and I must say? Ri manned up and nailed it within a couple takes. We?ll be tracking the rest of the instruments for this song throughout the week, and maybe it?s about time to start thinking about rehearsing for the upcoming mini East Coast tour. Bah. On the other side of things, we?ve started discussing the rest of the aspects of the record like artwork, packaging, etc. Wonderful.

Atreyu new album and tour update

Comments Off on Atreyu new album and tour update

A recent message from Atreyu:

Hello everyone,

It?s been a while since we?ve made a vague semblance of an update, so here goes:

For the last few months we?ve been home working on songs for the new record. We ended up writing about 25, all of which we are really siked on. We’ve been working with John Feldman on this record, and we couldn?t be happier. In fact, we?ve been in the studio for about a month and things are coming out really awesome. This album is definitely on its way to being the biggest, most epic record to date for us. We?re counting down the days till we can play them for you.

On that note, we have been confirmed for the Family Values tour this summer. We?ll be playing along side Korn, Evanescence, Flyleaf, Hell Yeah, and Trivium. We’re really excited to be a part of such a big and amazing tour. There are going to be so many great bands that we’ll be sharing the stage with, we’re ecstatic. We can?t wait to get back out on the road and play shows for y?all again.

On a third note, we have a few live videos that will be available online in the near future. One is a video for ?Untitled Finale? that we shot on our World Championship tour (which we thank everyone again for making it our best headliner yet), and the other is an older video that we found of our cover of Bon Jovi’s ?You Give Love A Bad Name?. This video is compiled from footage form Warped Tour two years ago. It is a great live video that we thought was lost, but hey, we found it! Well that?s the Atreyu news for now. Keep your eyes and ears open for the new jams very very soon and we’ll look forward to seeing you aaaaall soon.

Brandon and Atreyu
