ARTIST OF THE DAY
Element Eighty
Hometown: Tyler, Texas Genre: Metal, Rock, Alternative Sounds like: Edgewater, Dark New Day, Earshot Current Album: The Bear Myspace: myspace.com/elementeighty Official Site: texascries.com Element Eighty has a distinct sound that rocks. I know that may sound cliche, but it’s a given truth. They vocal ranges from a collective mellow voice to an earth shattering roar. Make sure to check out their self-titled album as well as The Bear. Favorite songs of mine include Texas Cries, Broken Promises, and Scars. |

ARTIST OF THE DAY
Framing Hanley
Hometown: Nashville, TN Genre: Rock / Alternative Sounds like: Trust Company, Unwritten Law, Theory Of A Deadman Current Album: The Moment Myspace: myspace.com/framinghanley Official Site: www.framinghanley.com Framing Hanley has a great sound, but with their intense live shows the band quickly gained a large following in Nashville. In November of 2006 they signed with Silent Majority Group and just finished recording their debut album “The Moment.” Their new album is set to hit stores May 15th and I can’t wait to add this one to my collection. Some of the songs I really liked were Here me know, Home, and a slower track Alone in this bed. If your looking for a another good rock band this is the one. |
