Another Animal New Album Release and Tour Dates

Comments Off on Another Animal New Album Release and Tour Dates

Another Animal?s self titled debut album was released this past Tuesday. The album features the single ?Broken Again.? This is the first record for Another Animal, but not for the members of the band. Whit Crane from Ugly Kid Joe joins Tony Rombola, Lee Richards, Robbie Merrill and Shannon Larkin from Godsmack to become Another Animal. When Shannon and the guys from Godsmack needed a singer for their new band, he called on his old friend Whit Crane to step in. Shannon and Whit had previously played together on Ugly Kid Joe?s album Menace to Sobriety.

Another Animal?s name is a perfect description for what the new band has become. By incorporating elements of hard rock, metal, punk, and grunge, Another Animal is an eclectic tribute to the sounds the members grew up with. “It was so organic and fun to do,” says Rombola. “It was a great experience because there were no preconceptions. We just did what we felt like in order to create some really cool songs without worrying about what audience it was for.”

With the new record in stores today and the first show of their US tour kicking off tonight, Another Animal are playing the music they love and enjoying the ride. For more information on the tour or to check out the bands single, ?Broken Again,? go to the Another Animal Myspace page.

Official Site:

If your looking for a great metal band that rocks, this is the band for you! The lead singer has awesome vocals and meshes very well with the music. There sound is old school but in a new way with fresh wrifs and hard core lyrics. I got the privilege to see these guys in concert and they really rock. They have that “in your face” attitude that makes you want to head bang all night long. Off the stage these guys are nice and definitely would be up for hanging out with there fans. Their new album, “King Of Everything”, is availible on their website along with their earlier EP’s that are also very good. Some of the songs I really like off their new album are Comatose, King of Everything (title track), and Games. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed
