Here’s a band that I’ve grown to love. I originally found them after the demise of Mozart Season. After hearing a few songs I was thoroughly impressed. Jamies Elsewhere’s sound is smooth and controlled, sometimes layered with raging vocals. I love their sound and what they can bring to the table. Jamie’s Elsewhere are in a elite group that has so many dynamics in their music, it’s just right. I’m looking forward to picking up their debut album in a couple weeks. Stop what you’re doing and check out their myspace.

MUSIC VIDEO OF THE DAY: Bullet For My Valentine Tears Don’t Fall

Four years ago today, Slipknot bassist Paul Gray was arrested on drugs and drink-driving charges after he collided with a car after going through a red light in his home town of Des Moines, Iowa. Gray, (who wears a pig mask on stage) then tried to write a cheque for $1,000 (?600) to the other driver, who then called the police. Gray failed two alcohol tests at the scene and was arrested for possession of marijuana, cocaine and drug paraphernalia, as well drink-driving.

You whispered into my ear, like a bomb going off.
